Laverne Duck Egg

Misc Fabric

Laverne Duck Egg has a softly painterly, abstract look, with cloudy teal-blue shapes drifting through warm beige, ivory and stone tones. The overall effect is muted and organic, with enough pattern movement to feel lively without reading busy.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a mottled, watercolour-style surface where duck egg teal is broken up by pale ivory spots and sand-beige pooling, giving the design a worn-in, artistic depth. The 67% viscose and 33% polyester composition helps the surface take on a smooth, softly lustrous finish, while the 140cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects. Its 69cm pattern repeat creates a sizeable, flowing arrangement that suits the broad, clouded motifs visible here. With no performance finish noted and care marked NQT1<, it is best chosen where the fabric can be used thoughtfully rather than heavily exposed.

How to use it

Use it to add cool colour to a neutral scheme, especially with limed woods, chalky paint and brushed brass. The duck egg teal reads calm rather than sharp, so it works well as a statement on occasional chairs, cushions or lined drapery.

A painterly duck egg ground with soft beige and ivory movement for relaxed sophistication.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
