Laverne Ochre is a lively abstract fabric with an earthy ochre ground broken up by chalky ivory, soft taupe and deep brown markings. The mottled surface gives the design a layered, painterly look with strong contrast and warmth.

About this fabric

Woven in 67% viscose and 33% polyester, this 140cm-wide fabric has a 69cm pattern repeat and a fluid, decorative handle suited to either drapery or upholstery use. The Ochre colourway reads as warm and slightly muted, with yellow-gold accents sitting over beige and brown tones rather than a bright, uniform yellow. In the image, the lighter cream motifs catch the eye against the darker, inky blotches, giving the pattern depth and a weathered, organic feel. The overall effect is textured and expressive, with enough tonal variation to work as a statement fabric without feeling sharp or glossy. Care instructions: NQT1<.

How to use it

Use it as a feature chair, ottoman or layered cushion fabric alongside linen, walnut and aged brass. Its warm ochre notes also sit well with stone, tobacco and soft ivory finishes.

Layer with warm neutrals and dark wood to let the ochre pattern read clearly.
