About this fabric

This colourway combines burnt orange, golden ochre, caramel brown and bright off-white shapes across a softly textured ground, giving the pattern a layered, almost stonewashed look. The large 69cm pattern repeat supports the generous scale of the abstract motif, while the 140cm width makes it practical for both furnishing and window projects. Woven in 67% viscose and 33% polyester, it has a smooth, slightly lustrous finish that helps the warm tones catch the light. The overall effect is earthy and energetic rather than heavy, with enough contrast between the pale spots and deeper brown marks to keep the surface moving.

How to use it

Use it to warm up neutral upholstery, where the burnt orange and ochre notes can act as the room’s colour anchor. It also works well for drapery in a light-filled space, letting the creamy ground and soft sheen keep the design from feeling overpowering.

Use for statement upholstery or full-length curtains to bring warmth and movement.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Laverne Burnt Orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
