About this fabric

This Apollo colourway shows a rhythmic chain of rounded rectangles in burnt orange and pale ivory, with the lighter shapes sitting on a warm terracotta base. The surface reads as a woven cloth rather than a printed effect, with fine crosswise slubs and a gently mottled hand that soften the geometry. At 145cm wide, and woven in 63% polyester and 37% BCI cotton, it offers a practical fabric blend for everyday interiors. The 14cm vertical by 16.5cm horizontal repeat is large enough to give the pattern presence without overwhelming smaller furniture pieces. The overall impression is warm, sunbaked and slightly mid-century, with the ivory sections helping the orange feel rich rather than brash.

How to use it

Use it to bring warmth to an accent chair, bench or scatter cushion, especially against oak, walnut or painted off-whites. Its terracotta-orange tone also works well with olive, tan and deep brown accessories for a grounded retro scheme.
