About this fabric

This Cosima Velvet II colourway is a plain velvet with no visible repeat, so the focus stays on the colour and the nap of the cloth. Woven in 56% viscose and 44% cotton, it has the smooth, dense handle you would expect from a velvet and a width of approximately 140cm. In the image, the shade sits between terracotta and coral, with brighter coppery notes where the pile catches the light and deeper rustier tones in the shaded areas. It feels warm and smart rather than sugary, making it a strong choice when you want colour with a more tailored finish.

How to use it

Use Cosima Coral on a statement chair, ottoman, or tailored cushions to bring warmth into neutral schemes. It pairs especially well with warm woods, aged brass, tobacco leather and softened creams.

A warm coral velvet that adds rich colour without feeling overly bright.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
