Cosima Leaf

Cosima Velvet II VelvetF4625-06

Cosima Leaf is a softly glowing green velvet with a gently weathered surface and subtle depth in the pile. Its mottled sheen gives the colour a calm, leaf-like richness rather than a bright, punchy green.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted moss green, with cooler shaded areas and lighter highlights catching across the velvet pile. The surface has the characteristic plushness of velvet, but the tone is restrained and earthy rather than jewel-like. Supplied at approximately 140cm wide and woven in 56% viscose and 44% cotton, it offers a balanced, tactile handle suited to upholstered pieces. The repeat is vertical 0cm and horizontal 0cm approx, so the cloth presents as a plain velvet with a softly variegated nap rather than a patterned design.

How to use it

Use it on a sofa or deep armchair where the soft green can read as a natural, grounded colour without overpowering the room. It works especially well with pale oak, stone, or warm neutrals that let the velvet's quiet sheen stand out.

A quietly verdant velvet that brings depth and a gentle sheen to tailored schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
