Colyton Leaf Green

Cristabel FabricF4756-02

Colyton Leaf Green shows a delicate trailing botanical on a pale ground, with fine vine work and small leaf sprigs spread in a gentle, airy repeat. The leaf tone reads soft, fresh and slightly muted rather than bright.

About this fabric

This colourway of Cristabel uses a 90% linen and 10% viscose ground, so the cloth has the natural slub and matte look you can see in the background. The design is set on a light, warm-toned base, with slender stems and tiny leaf motifs picked out in a restrained green that feels more leaf-moss than vivid apple. With an approximate width of 130cm and a vertical repeat of 40cm and horizontal repeat of 64cm, the pattern has enough movement to suit curtains, blinds or light upholstery schemes. The overall effect is crisp but soft-edged, with the green detail sitting neatly against the pale ground rather than heavily contrasting. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this soft green on café curtains, loose covers or a pair of accent chairs where the pale ground can keep a room feeling open. It sits especially well with limed woods, chalky paint colours and other quiet botanical prints.

A quiet leaf-green trail that works beautifully on relaxed drapes or tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Colyton Leaf Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
