About this fabric

Cosima Navy from Colefax and Fowler’s Cosima Velvet II collection is a velvet with no set repeat, making its appeal all about colour and surface. The 56% viscose and 44% cotton composition gives the cloth its smooth, light-catching pile and slightly shaded finish. In this colourway, the navy sits close to ink blue, with softened variations in the nap that lift the surface rather than flatten it. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical upholstery velvet for pieces that benefit from a strong, restrained colour.

How to use it

Use this navy on an upholstered sofa, deep banquette or accent chair where the dark tone can anchor lighter walls and timber. It also works well with pale neutrals, brushed brass and chalky blues for a crisp, composed scheme.
