Kumo Rosso

Misc Fabric

Kumo Rosso layers painterly rust red, soft cream and muted gold across a textured cotton ground. The abstract pattern has a brushed, clouded look that feels warm and lived-in rather than sharp or graphic.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 140cm wide, Kumo Rosso has a 64cm pattern repeat and a soft, breathable handle suited to decorative fabric use. The design reads as an abstract sweep of dusty red, aged gold, charcoal and chalky ivory, with the colours broken up by a visibly textural, slightly crosshatched surface. Its distressed effect keeps the reds from feeling bright, giving the cloth a mellow terracotta warmth with depth and movement. The overall impression is painterly and relaxed, with enough pattern presence to become the main feature of a room.

How to use it

This colourway works well on accent chairs, cushions or a feature blind where its rust-red clouding can warm pale walls. Pair it with natural wood, linen and muted green accents to echo the fabric’s earthy, softened tones.

Use for statement upholstery or roman blinds where the painterly red pattern can add warmth without feeling too formal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
