Brookland Rouge
Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric
Brookland Rouge pairs vivid rouge-red flowers with soft teal and olive foliage on a warm neutral ground. The painted, vine-like layout gives the design an easy rhythm without feeling overly busy.

About this fabric
This fabric is supplied at 140cm wide and has a pattern repeat of 32.2cm vertical by 34cm horizontal, which suits an orderly upholstered or curtained placement of the motif. The composition of 54% polyester, 33% cotton and 13% viscose gives the cloth a practical blended handle, while the visible surface reads as a smooth woven ground rather than a heavy pile. In this colourway, the rouge petals are bright and expressive, but the beige base softens the overall effect so the design feels warmer than bold. The teal-blue leaves and olive stems add a cooler, more relaxed counterpoint, keeping the floral fresh rather than overly formal. Care is NQT1<.
How to use it
Use Brookland Rouge on a statement chair, banquette or Roman blind where the red flowers can punctuate a neutral scheme. It sits especially well with oak, linen and aged brass, which suit the fabric’s warm base and lively leaf tones.
A lively floral that works beautifully when you want colour without losing a tailored feel.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Brookland Rouge without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
