Burley Stripe Ink

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Burley Stripe Ink is a smart striped fabric with a deep ink-blue ground and slender pale and gold-toned lines running through it. The contrast feels crisp and tailored rather than loud.

About this fabric

Woven in a 44% cotton, 30% polyester and 26% linen blend, this fabric has the structured, slightly dry handle suggested by its visible weave. The stripe repeat is 0cm vertical by 14.2cm horizontal, creating a clean linear rhythm across the width. In this colourway, the ink blue reads cool and grounded, while the narrow cream and golden threads soften the contrast and add a subtle lift. At 140cm wide, it is a practical choice for schemes that need a disciplined stripe with enough texture to keep it from looking flat. Care instructions are BQW1<.

How to use it

Use Burley Stripe Ink on a pair of tailored curtains or a bench seat where the dark blue stripe can anchor the room. It pairs neatly with pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed brass for a sharp, traditional feel.

A crisp stripe that brings tailored contrast to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
