About this fabric
Woven in a 44% viscose, 39% polyester and 17% cotton blend, Cortina Linen has a balanced handle that suits both upholstery and drapery projects. The 140cm width gives good coverage for larger runs, while the 11.5cm vertical by 8.5cm horizontal repeat creates a steady, structured rhythm across the fabric. In this colourway, the ovals are worked in soft taupe and stone shades over a pale ground, giving the design a calm, slightly weathered look rather than a high-contrast graphic one. The weave has a linen-like texture with a gentle matte finish that keeps the pattern refined and easy to live with. Care code NQT1< should be followed as supplied.
How to use it
Use this taupe version for tailored upholstery, ottomans or Roman blinds where the repeating oval motif can add interest without overpowering a room. Its muted greige palette sits especially well with oak, limestone and warm off-whites.
