About this fabric

This textile has a subtle slubbed weave that reads more textured than patterned, with gentle tonal variation across the surface. Its 138cm width and repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx make it a straightforward option for cutting and fitting, while the composition of 75% Cotton, 17% Polyester, 7% Acrylic and 1% Polyamide supports a cloth with a balanced, clothy handle. The Cendre colourway is a soft greige taupe, neither stark grey nor warm beige, so it feels composed and understated rather than bright. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it is well suited to a wide range of interiors where a quiet, textural neutral is wanted.

How to use it

Use Vendome Cendre on upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains where a low-contrast neutral is needed to soften a room. Its cool-warm balance works especially well with oak, limestone, charcoal and brushed metal finishes.

A versatile muted neutral that layers easily with timber, stone and warmer accent tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
