About this fabric

Vendome Creme from the Montaigne collection by Manuel Canovas is a 138cm-wide fabric with a plain repeat, making the weave and colour do the talking. Its 75% cotton, 17% polyester, 7% acrylic and 1% polyamide composition gives this cream colourway a slightly textured, grounded handle rather than a flat finish. The tone sits in a warm, pale cream with faint beige undertones, so it feels softened and inviting rather than bright white. With no repeat to interrupt the surface, it is easy to use for tailored upholstery or understated curtains, and the √BM fire code adds a useful specification point for project planning.

How to use it

Use this soft cream to lift darker woodwork, or pair it with oak, linen and stone for a calm layered interior. Its warm undertone makes it especially effective in rooms that need light without a cold white contrast.

A quiet cream that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains for a calm, tailored room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
