About this fabric

From the Montaigne collection by Manuel Canovas, Vendome Ciel is a 138cm-wide fabric with a composition of 75% Cotton, 17% Polyester, 7% Acrylic and 1% Polyamide. The swatch shows a delicate blue ground with a whisper of grey, softened by an evenly woven texture that keeps the colour looking muted and refined. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the design presents as a clean plain, ideal where the interest comes from tone and handle rather than motif. The overall effect is light and breathable, with just enough surface grain to stop the colour feeling flat.

How to use it

Its cool ciel tone works beautifully on clean-lined upholstery, especially when paired with pale oak, chalk white or brushed nickel. It can also soften a room of stronger blues by bringing in a lighter, mistier note.
