About this fabric

From the Montaigne collection by Manuel Canovas, Thabor Paon is a fabric with a 146cm approximate width and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, making it a straightforward plain ground for cutting and matching. The composition of 53% cotton, 21% acrylic, 12% wool, 11% viscose and 3% polyester gives the cloth a slightly nubby, textile-rich handle that shows as fine vertical striations across the face. The colourway is a muted seafoam blue with a cool grey cast, so it feels fresher than a classic duck egg and less saturated than teal. Its soft, brushed-looking texture catches the light in pale bands, which adds movement without introducing a visible motif.

How to use it

Use Thabor Paon on an armchair, headboard or tailored curtains where its calm blue-green note can cool warmer woods and brass. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and deeper navy accents.

A fresh, quietly smart blue with enough body for upholstery and enough drape for relaxed curtains.
