Brookland Natural

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Brookland Natural pairs a soft woven ground with trailing floral stems in warm brown, sage and muted orange. The overall effect is light and airy, with the motif standing out gently rather than sharply.

About this fabric

This Fryett's Fabrics design is a fabric, not wallpaper, with a 140cm width and a 32.2cm vertical by 34cm horizontal repeat. The composition of 54% polyester, 33% cotton and 13% viscose gives the cloth a textured, practical handle suited to everyday interiors. In this colourway, the ground reads as a pale natural ivory with a subtle linen-like slub, while the embroidery-style flowers bring in soft apricot orange, sage green and taupe-brown stems. The pattern has an open, climbing rhythm that feels calm and decorative without becoming heavy.

How to use it

Use Brookland Natural where you want pattern with a light hand: it would suit upholstered occasional chairs, roman blinds or relaxed curtains. Its warm neutral base makes it easy to layer with oak, painted wood and other softened earthy tones.

A soft botanical that works well on relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
