Malmo Teal

Misc Fabric

Malmo Teal is a lively geometric cotton with a neat vertical stripe effect and a distinctly fresh, cool palette. The small repeating motif gives the swatch a crisp, ordered look rather than a heavy pattern presence.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 140cm wide, Malmo Teal has a 16cm pattern repeat that creates a regular, tailored rhythm across the cloth. The design reads as narrow vertical bands made up of short angled dashes in teal, mustard, soft grey and pale blue, all set against a light ground. In this colourway the teal is cool and clear rather than deep or inky, so the pattern feels bright but not loud. It has enough structure for upholstery, while the cotton handle and compact repeat also make it suitable for drapery. Care instructions are AQV1, so it is best handled with the same measured approach as other fine decorative cottons.

How to use it

Use this colourway to lift neutral upholstery, kitchen seating or occasional chairs with a sharp, contemporary edge. It also works well as curtains or roman blinds where the small-scale stripe can add movement without dominating the room.

A crisp geometric cotton that brings colour without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
