About this fabric

This colourway shows a plain velvet appearance in a gentle dove grey, with a subtle tonal shift across the pile that gives the surface a soft, even glow. The 137cm width and contract/general domestic upholstery rating make it suitable for both fixed and loose cover applications, while curtains are also listed in the usage. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it balances a refined handle with practical resilience. The 100,000 Martindale rub test and BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating underline its suitability for hard-working interiors, and the stain-resistant finish adds useful everyday confidence.

How to use it

Use this dove grey as a quiet foundation for oak, blackened metal or chalky painted finishes. It is especially effective on deep-buttoned seating, tailored sofas or full-height curtains where the soft grey pile can catch the light.

A quietly elegant grey velvet that works beautifully on tailored seating and refined drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
