Omega Velvet 4 Duck Egg

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet039

Omega Velvet 4 Duck Egg is a smooth, plain velvet in a softly muted duck egg green. The colour reads cool and airy, with a gentle matte-lustre that keeps it feeling refined rather than bright.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale, misty green with a blue-leaning undertone, giving the velvet a fresh but understated look. The pile appears very even and low-sheen, so the surface catches light softly without obvious contrast. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it is a practical velvet with a substantial 100,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grading for both Contract and General Domestic use. At 137cm wide and with a plain repeat, it is well suited to clean, tailored applications where the colour and texture can do the work. It also carries FR compliance to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use this duck egg velvet on an armchair, banquette or cushions where its cool, calming tone can soften darker woods and crisp neutrals. It also makes an elegant curtain or loose-cover fabric in rooms that need a fresh, light-filled feel.

A calm duck egg velvet that works beautifully on tailored seating and elegant soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
