About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Linwood fabric is intended for fixed upholstery and carries a 30,000 Martindale rub test, making it a practical choice for general domestic use. The swatch shows a pale, softened jade ground with an ivory damask motif that reads light and lively rather than heavy or formal. Its 137cm width and 38cm half-drop repeat suit larger upholstered pieces where the pattern can settle comfortably across cushions or chair backs. It is also machine washable at 30C, with a 3% shrinkage allowance, and should be dry cleaned after care as specified.

How to use it

Use this soft jade colourway on a neat armchair, bench or headboard to bring a clean, cool freshness into a room. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and brushed brass, where the creamy motif can stand out without feeling stark.

A fresh jade tone that softens the damask detail for polished domestic schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hinako Soft Jade without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
