About this fabric
This plain velvet has a soft, matte nap that catches the light subtly, giving the blue-green ground a gentle tonal movement across the surface. The composition is 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and it is offered at 137cm wide. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and an upholstery grade of Contract, General Domestic, it is well suited to hard-working seating as well as curtains and loose covers. The FR rating conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 (Cigarette) and 1 (Match), and care includes dry clean or a delicate 30°C wash with stain resistance noted.
How to use it
Use this blue-green velvet on an upholstered armchair, banquette or sofa where the colour can read as deep and composed. It also makes a handsome curtain in darker, layered schemes, pairing well with oak, brushed brass and warm neutrals.
A rich, contract-grade velvet that brings depth to tailored seating or refined curtains.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Blue Savoy is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
