About this fabric

This Biscuit colourway has a gentle creamy-beige tone that feels warm rather than yellow, giving the velvet a mellow, inviting look. The plain pile appears even and closely finished, so the colour takes centre stage rather than any weave detail. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it is a practical upholstery velvet with a 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grading. At 137cm wide and suitable for curtains, loose covers and fixed upholstery, it can move from seating to soft furnishings while keeping the same subdued biscuit warmth.

How to use it

Use this shade on sofas, banquettes or occasional chairs where you want a light neutral that still feels richer than linen. It also works well for curtains in north-facing rooms, where the soft biscuit tone adds warmth without darkening the space.

A warm neutral velvet that pairs easily with timber, linen and stone tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
