About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, deep teal-blue, with the pile catching the light to reveal subtle shifts between inkier green and softer blue notes. The plain velvet face keeps the look clean and contemporary, while the dense handle suggests a fabric that will hold its shape well on furniture. Made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, it is specified for Curtains, Loose Cover Upholstery and Fixed Upholstery. With a 137cm width, 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery rating, it is a practical choice for hard-working interiors as well as decorative schemes. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned or washed with care at 30C.

How to use it

Use this blue-green velvet on a statement armchair, banquette or neatly tailored curtains where you want depth without heaviness. It sits especially well with warm wood, pale plaster tones and brushed brass accents.

Pairs beautifully with oak, walnut and crisp off-white for a clean, tailored look.
