Omega Velvet 4 Adriatic

Omega Velvet 4 Velvet099

Omega Velvet 4 Adriatic is a smooth, plain velvet in a deep teal-blue tone with a soft, light-absorbing finish. The colour reads cool and moody, with just enough clarity to keep it looking crisp rather than flat.

About this fabric

This colourway has the dense, even look of a true velvet, with a subtle nap that shifts gently as the light moves across the surface. It is woven in 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and the 137cm width makes it practical for upholstery and curtain work alike. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and upholstery grading for both contract and general domestic use, it is a robust choice for busy seating. The Adriatic shade is a deep blue-green teal that feels refined and slightly maritime, while the plain pattern keeps the focus on colour and texture. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned with care at 30C.

How to use it

Use this Adriatic velvet on a sofa, banquette or accent chair where the cool teal depth can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with pale stone, warm brass and smoked wood for a smart, contemporary contrast.

A rich teal velvet that brings depth and polish to tailored interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
