Taiki Lagoon

Maru Fabric002

Taiki Lagoon brings a fresh, watery teal to the Maru design, with soft cream bands that brighten the repeat. The zigzag stripe reads crisp and decorative, while the warm ochre accents keep the colourway from feeling too cool.

About this fabric

This is a Linwood Maru cushion fabric supplied as a 40cm x 55cm piece, with Taiki Brick Red on the face and reverse, duck feather filling and dry-clean care. The visible pattern is a bold vertical stripe made up of scalloped, zigzag-edged columns, alternating lagoon teal, pale cream and yellow-ochre notes with small salmon-pink points along the edges. The overall effect is airy but still graphic, and the teal areas carry a slightly softened, sea-glass depth rather than a bright turquoise tone. It is catalogued as C Non-FR, so if used for domestic upholstery it must receive an FR treatment.

How to use it

This colourway works well in sunlit rooms where the teal can read clear and cooling against timber, rattan or pale painted furniture. Pair it with chalky neutrals and a little warm brass to echo the ochre and pink detailing in the stripe.

Use with pale woods and warm neutrals to let the lagoon teal and soft cream stripes feel fresh rather than busy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
