About this fabric

This Taiki Ink cushion from Linwood’s Maru collection comes as a 40cm x 55cm piece with duck feathers inside and a dry-clean care requirement. The fabric reads as a woven, textured textile rather than a flat print, with dark blue-grey side panels framing each stripe. Soft pink columns sit beside serrated cream and pale aqua edges, while warm golden motifs add a hand-drawn, sunburst feel. The colourway feels moody but playful, with the darker grounds giving the brighter pinks and yellows a crisp lift.

How to use it

Style Taiki Ink on a neutral sofa or bench to let the teal-blue ground and blush stripes do the work. It also layers well with plain linens, pale woods and brass accents.

Use for statement seating or cushions to bring a playful, graphic note.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
