Yala Alpine

Maru Fabric007

Yala Alpine brings a lively meadow feel, with fresh blue blossoms scattered over curling green foliage on a soft pale ground. The pattern reads airy and cheerful, with enough contrast to keep the design crisp.

About this fabric

This cushion in Linwood’s Maru collection comes as a 43cm x 43cm piece, filled with duck feathers and finished with a Yala Coral face and reverse. The fabric shows a relaxed botanical repeat: grassy green stems and leaf sprays set against a light cream base, punctuated by small blue flowers that feel bright but not harsh. The colourway has a cool, spring-like clarity, with the blue motifs sitting cleanly above the softer ground and the green giving the design a fresh, natural rhythm. It is dry clean only, and the FR rating is C non-FR, so domestic upholstery requires an FR treatment if used that way.

How to use it

Use this colourway to lift a neutral room, especially alongside rattan, bleached oak or soft white paint. The fresh blue and green palette works well in relaxed country or garden-inspired settings where you want pattern without heaviness.

Pair with natural linens and pale woods for a fresh, easygoing scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
