Loxley Powder Blue

Loxley Fabric

Loxley Powder Blue has a fresh, softly weathered look, with pale blue yarns threaded through a warm gold-tinged weave. The close texture gives the surface a tidy, tailored feel rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

This Loxley fabric from Linwood is composed of 38% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester, and it is designed for fixed upholstery. The 30,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grade make it a practical choice for hardworking seating, while the A FR rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 adds reassurance. Visually, the powder blue reads cool and light, but the tiny pale gold accents soften the overall effect and stop it feeling icy. The semi-plain pattern and 137cm width suit upholstery projects that need a calm, textural finish. Dry clean only.

How to use it

Use this shade on a compact armchair, banquette or accent cushions where its light blue tone can brighten darker woods and painted trims. It pairs especially well with chalk white, driftwood grey and quiet sea-glass greens.

A cool, airy blue with a subtle golden slub that lifts its woven surface beautifully.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
