About this fabric

Woven in a 38% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 6% polyester blend, Loxley Indigo has the feel of a substantial upholstery fabric with a crisp, textural handle. Its 30,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grade for Contract and General Domestic use make it well suited to fixed seating. The surface appears as a deep indigo-blue ground with faintly mottled lighter yarns, which softens the colour and stops it from looking flat. At 137cm wide and with an A FR rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, it is a practical choice for hardworking interiors where a smart, dark blue is wanted.

How to use it

Use this indigo shade on a sofa, banquette or dining chair where its dark tonal weave can add depth without feeling glossy. It pairs especially well with pale woods, warm neutrals and aged brass for a restrained, confident scheme.

A cool indigo tone that feels grounded and tailored on seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
