About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Maru fabric has the dry, natural handle you can see in the slightly slubby ground and the softly irregular edge of the pattern. The 38cm half-drop repeat creates a rhythmic damask effect, while the cream motif sits gently against the toffee-brown base for a warm, lived-in finish. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery-grade suitability, it is well placed for general domestic fixed upholstery. It also carries an A fire rating to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and can be machine washed at 30C with an allowance for 3% shrinkage, though after-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Hinako Fudge on an upholstered armchair or bench where its warm brown ground will soften timber, leather and brass. The cream pattern works especially well with chalky neutrals, tan and aged metal finishes.

A warm, small-scale damask that adds quiet pattern and a tailored finish to a room.
