About this fabric

This chocolate colourway has a dark, even pile that appears plush and dense in the light, with just enough sheen to stop it looking flat. It is a plain velvet with an approximate width of 137cm and a heavy-duty 100,000 Martindale rub test, making it well suited to contract and general domestic upholstery as well as curtains. The 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose composition helps the fabric hold its body while keeping the handle supple. It is FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the stain-resistant finish and care instructions support practical everyday use.

How to use it

Use this deep brown on a sofa, banquette or dining chairs where you want warmth and depth without glare. It also works well for full-length curtains in darker schemes, especially alongside tan leather, walnut and brass.

A rich, dark velvet that feels refined and cocooning on tailored seating or smart curtains.
