About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted charcoal-grey with a cool, metallic undertone, and the velvet pile gives it a gentle sheen as the light moves across the surface. It is woven in a robust composition of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and is supplied at 137cm wide. With a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and upholstery grading for both Contract and General Domestic use, it is well suited to busy seating. The plain pattern keeps the focus on the rich pile and the calm, polished tone, while the aftercare includes dry clean and delicate wash at 30°C. It also conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 for cigarette and match ignition.

How to use it

Use Chrome on sofas, banquettes or dining chairs where you want a tailored grey with a cooler edge. It pairs especially well with pale oak, blackened metal and crisp white trims for a crisp, contemporary scheme.
