About this fabric
This colourway has the rich, cosy depth of roasted chestnut, with subtle tonal shading that appears when the velvet pile catches the light. The plain surface keeps the look clean and versatile, while the 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grade make it a practical choice for demanding seating. It is 137cm wide and supplied by the metre, with a composition of 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose. FR rating A conforms to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and the cloth is also suitable for curtains, loose cover upholstery and fixed upholstery.
How to use it
Use Chestnut on an armchair, banquette or sofa where you want a warm, enveloping finish without resorting to black or tan. It also works well as full-length curtains when you want the room to feel deeper and more cocooning.
A rich chestnut velvet that adds warmth and depth to hardworking upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Chestnut is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
