Omega Velvet 4 Deep Purple
Omega Velvet 4 Velvet023
Omega Velvet 4 Deep Purple is a smooth, plain velvet with a deep plum tone that reads rich and shadowy rather than bright. The pile catches the light softly, giving the colour a quiet lustre across the surface.

About this fabric
This colourway sits in a dark purple register, with a wine-like depth that feels luxurious and slightly moody in the velvet pile. It is made from 60% Polyester, 28% Recycled Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, and has a robust 100,000 Martindale rub test, so it is well suited to contract and general domestic upholstery. The plain design and 137cm width make it straightforward to cut and upholster, while the BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1 fire rating adds reassurance for seating use. Its stain-resistant finish and care instructions, including dry clean and delicate 30°C washing, support practical everyday use.
How to use it
Use this deep purple on a sofa, armchair or headboard where you want a strong colour with a refined, enveloping finish. It pairs especially well with brass, walnut and soft neutral linens, letting the velvet’s dark plum tone provide the focus.
A rich plum velvet that brings depth and a polished, cocooning feel to upholstered pieces.

Pairs well with
Omega Velvet 4 Deep Purple is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
