Pure Sunflower Dove

Morris Pure Fabrics FabricMOF0074-01

Pure Sunflower Dove presents an intricate botanical repeat in a quiet dove-grey and pale silver palette. Fine flowers, scrolling leaves and stylised pineapple-like fruits create a softly tonal damask effect across the cloth.

About this fabric

The muted grey ground gives the design a cool, airy quality, while the lighter motifs catch the eye as delicate silvery tracery rather than bold contrast. Its repeating arrangement combines formal floral medallions, curling foliage and detailed fruit forms, giving the surface a refined historic character. At 129 gsm, this is a relatively light fabric suited to drapery, with a 156 cm usable width for generous curtain drops. The pattern repeats every 65.7 cm vertically and 77.5 cm horizontally, while the 115 threads per cm specification reflects the fine, closely detailed surface.

How to use it

Use Pure Sunflower Dove for full-length curtains in a light-filled sitting room or bedroom, where its cool grey tone can sit comfortably with chalky whites, soft taupes and pale wood.

Use the pale dove-grey ground to soften a room, pairing it with warm ivory, natural timber or brushed metal.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pure Sunflower Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
