Pure Poppy Embroidery Wild Mint

Morris Pure Fabrics FabricMOF0071-01

Pure Poppy Embroidery in Wild Mint shows a pale, cool mint ground covered with delicate white poppies, leaves and curling stems. Its low-contrast palette gives the densely drawn floral an airy, softly textured appearance.

About this fabric

The pale Wild Mint ground is overlaid with white, finely drawn poppies, serrated leaves and curling stems; the close tonal contrast keeps the floral field light rather than dramatic. At 264gsm with 27 threads per centimetre, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 47cm vertical and 68.5cm horizontal pattern repeats give the all-over design a clear, medium-scale rhythm. It is supplied at a 133.5cm usable width, with a standard length of 30 metres.

How to use it

Pair this cool mint-and-white colourway with chalky neutrals, pale timber and soft grey-green accents. It works particularly well on a reading-chair cushion, relaxed blind or curtains where the white floral linework can catch the light.

Use this cool, pale mint floral for relaxed upholstery, curtains or coordinating cushions where the white embroidery can remain clearly visible.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pure Poppy Embroidery Wild Mint without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
