About this fabric

The detailed design combines perched birds with curling leaves, blossoms and fine trailing stems, while the pale cream embroidery remains gently distinct against the warm flax-beige background. Its 47 cm vertical repeat and 33.5 cm horizontal repeat create a consistently patterned surface without the colour feeling visually heavy. At 250 gsm and 130 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The 27 threads per cm construction gives the ground a close, even look, with the raised light motifs adding subtle tactile definition.

How to use it

Use this muted flax colourway on an occasional chair, bench or cushions where its ivory birds and botanical detail can be read up close. It also brings a soft, patterned finish to curtains or blinds in rooms built around warm whites, natural timber and pale stone.
