About this fabric

The Slate/Linen colourway combines a soft beige-linen background with narrow slate-blue stripes that read cool and muted rather than strongly saturated. At 220 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this Outdoor Performance fabric has a versatile mid-weight presence suited to upholstery and drapery applications. Its pattern repeats every 11.5 cm vertically and 8.5 cm horizontally, maintaining a fine, regular stripe rhythm across the cloth. A density of 38.5 threads per cm supports the subtly textured woven appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use the warm linen ground to soften outdoor seating, bench cushions or curtains, while the cool slate stripes introduce a measured architectural note. It works especially well with pale timber, stone and other restrained neutral finishes.

A refined slate-and-linen stripe for tailored outdoor seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Holland Park Stripe Slate/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
