Pure Thistle Linen

Pure Morris North Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0080-04

Pure Thistle Linen pairs a softly muted taupe-beige ground with creamy botanical forms, creating a calm interpretation of Morris & Co.’s scrolling thistle design. The pale motif remains clearly defined while the low-contrast palette gives the paper a gentle, light-catching appearance.

About this wallpaper

Curving leaves, stylised thistles and rounded floral heads fill the surface in a continuous ornamental repeat, with the cream artwork standing out against the warm, dusty beige ground. The pattern repeat is 64cm vertically, while the horizontal repeat is listed as 0cm. This wallpaper has a useable width of 68.6cm and a standard length of 10.05m. Its supplied weight is 191gsm, giving the specification a substantial paper presence without changing the softly restrained look of this colourway.

How to use it

Use Pure Thistle Linen where a room needs pattern without strong colour contrast: its warm taupe-beige ground and cream foliage sit comfortably with ivory upholstery, pale oak and natural woven accents. The medium-scale botanical repeat would work particularly well across a bedroom, landing or relaxed sitting room.

Use this softly contrasting taupe and cream botanical paper to bring gentle pattern to bedrooms, hallways or sitting rooms.

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
