Ruskin Wheat

Ruskin Weaves FabricMOF0125-22

Ruskin Wheat is a softly luminous plain weave in a pale wheat beige, with a gentle straw warmth rather than a cool cream cast. Its even surface catches the light subtly, giving the swatch quiet depth without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The close, fine weave appears smooth and lightly textured, while the warm wheat tone shifts between soft beige and muted straw across the surface. At 410gsm, this is a substantial woven textile suited to upholstery, with a 140cm usable width for practical cutting. The specification records 22 threads per cm and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, matching the uninterrupted plain appearance seen here. Its low-contrast colour keeps the overall effect relaxed and quietly refined.

How to use it

Use Ruskin Wheat on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its pale golden-beige tone can lift darker timber and sit comfortably with oatmeal, chalk, olive or muted terracotta accents. It also works as a calm upholstered foundation for rooms that need warmth without a strong pattern.

Use this softly warm wheat neutral to brighten upholstered seating while keeping the room calm and understated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
