Ruskin Mole

Ruskin Weaves FabricMOF0125-28

Ruskin Mole is a warm, muted taupe with the soft brown-grey character suggested by its name. The close plain weave gives the surface a gently tactile, quietly tonal appearance rather than a visible motif.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a balanced mole taupe, with warm brown undertones softened by a grey cast across the surface. Fine horizontal and vertical threads create a restrained woven texture, while slight tonal variation keeps the plain face from appearing flat. At 410 gsm and 140 cm wide, it has the substantial presence expected of a heavy furnishing textile for upholstery. The specification records 22 threads per cm and a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, making the fabric visually uninterrupted across a piece.

How to use it

Use Ruskin Mole on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm taupe depth can sit comfortably with oak, walnut, stone and softened neutrals. Its low-contrast surface is especially effective when paired with patterned cushions or darker timber accents.

A substantial mole taupe weave that brings quiet warmth and finely textured depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
