Ruskin Weaves FabricMOF0125-23

Ruskin Linen has a softly warm, pale beige tone that reads like natural flax in the light. Its close plain weave is visibly understated, with fine horizontal and vertical tonal variation rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This 410gsm textile has a substantial woven presence suited to upholstery, while its unpatterned surface keeps the finish calm and versatile. The pale beige colour is gently warm rather than stark, with a soft oatmeal cast that shifts subtly across the swatch. Fine woven lines create restrained texture without a visible repeat; both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm. Ruskin Linen is supplied at a usable width of 140cm, with 22 threads per centimetre and a standard length of 30m.

How to use it

Pair the warm pale beige with chalky whites, natural timber and softly weathered brown leather for a relaxed, quietly tactile scheme. It also provides a light neutral ground for deeper olive, rust or charcoal accents without competing with them.

Use this softly warm beige on upholstered seating where its quiet woven surface can add texture without introducing pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
