Pure Brer Rabbit Linen

Pure Morris North Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0072-02

Pure Brer Rabbit Linen presents Morris & Co.’s detailed rabbits, birds and curling foliage in a softly muted taupe against a warm cream ground. The low-contrast palette gives the dense repeat a calm, chalky appearance rather than a strong graphic effect.

About this wallpaper

The pattern combines perched birds, paired rabbits and densely scrolling leaves, all picked out in warm, lightly greyed taupe over cream. This colourway has a gentle, vintage depth: the taupe reads softly in the background while the cream negative space keeps the intricate foliage legible. The wallpaper has a usable width of 68.6 cm and a standard length of 10.05 m, with a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat. Its supplied specification is 204 gsm, and the horizontal repeat is listed as 0 cm.

How to use it

Pair the warm taupe and cream palette with natural oak, aged brass and softly painted furniture for a composed country interior. Its quiet contrast suits a bedroom, reading room or hallway where the rabbit and bird details can be appreciated up close.

Use this warm taupe-and-cream colourway to bring quiet heritage character to a classic sitting room, hallway or bedroom.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
