Ruskin Weaves FabricMOF0125-12

Ruskin Sea Glass is a pale aqua-green woven textile with the softly washed appearance of sea glass. Its close, understated surface shows gentle horizontal and vertical tonal movement rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The cool mint-aqua colour is light and muted, with a subtle variation in tone that becomes visible across the plain woven surface. At 410 gsm, the fabric has a substantial handle suited to upholstery rather than a fine, fluid drapery cloth. It has a useable width of 140 cm and 22 threads per centimetre, giving the close weave a quietly defined texture. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the surface can be positioned without matching a design.

How to use it

Use Ruskin Sea Glass on a buttoned or clean-lined chair where its cool aqua tone can soften warm timber, chalky paint and natural neutrals. It also works as a calm counterpoint to deeper teal, blue-grey or aged brass accents.

Use this softly coloured, substantial weave to bring a cool sea-glass calm to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
