Baker Mineral

Castle Garden FabricCCF0174-04

Baker Mineral brings a cool, muted blue-green ground to the Castle Garden collection, with sandy beige clouding that shifts softly across the woven surface. Its understated vertical movement gives the colourway depth without making the pattern feel busy.

About this fabric

The ground reads as a desaturated mineral blue-green, interrupted by hazy sand and warm beige vertical striation visible throughout the swatch. This softly irregular motif has a 29cm vertical repeat and a 35cm horizontal repeat, creating quiet movement rather than a crisp geometric grid. At 421gsm, the fabric has a substantial woven presence, while its 138cm usable width makes it practical for upholstery and structured applications. The warm beige threads gently soften the cooler blue-green base, giving Baker Mineral a balanced, weathered character.

How to use it

Use Baker Mineral on an occasional chair, headboard or tailored sofa where its cool blue-green tone can sit alongside warm timber, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass. The sandy vertical variation also works well with layered neutral cushions without losing the fabric’s mineral depth.

Pair this cool mineral blue-green with warm beige, natural wood and softly aged metallic accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
