About this fabric

The design is clearly defined in charcoal against the pale, warm greige ground, creating depth without the stark contrast of black and white. Large flower heads, smaller blossoms, scrolling leaves and paisley-shaped foliage form a 60 cm vertical by 35 cm horizontal repeat. At 465 gsm, the fabric has a weighty woven handle that makes it particularly suitable for upholstery. The 137 cm usable width and 40 m standard length provide practical coverage for larger furnishing projects.

How to use it

Use Cranbrook Charcoal on a statement armchair, dining seat or traditional sofa, then draw out the warm stone background with oatmeal, natural linen and aged timber. Its cool charcoal pattern also works well with brushed metal or deeper grey accents.

Use this charcoal-and-stone floral for tailored upholstery, balancing its ornate pattern with quiet, warm neutrals.
