Malone Charcoal

Burlington FabricCCF0600-01

Malone Charcoal has a deep, near-black grey ground enlivened by closely woven pale flecks. Its fine broken texture gives the surface a softly patterned, tactile appearance rather than a flat solid colour.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense charcoal weave with tiny pale grey and muted brown flecks creating a subtle broken zigzag effect across the surface. At 418gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery and tailored seating applications. Its 6cm vertical and 2cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the motif small and discreet, so the dark colour remains the dominant impression. The 143cm usable width and 30m standard length provide practical coverage for upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Malone Charcoal on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool, deep tone can anchor a room without appearing completely plain. Balance the near-black grey with chalky walls, natural wood and brushed metal for a refined, quietly textured interior.

Pair this deep charcoal weave with pale timber, warm metal and tonal grey upholstery for a composed, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
