Cranbrook Linen

Castle Garden FabricCCF0178-04

Cranbrook Linen has a warm, weathered taupe ground with a softly aged, almost mineral depth. Chalky ivory floral outlines drift across the surface, giving the traditional pattern a quieter, more textural character.

About this fabric

The muted taupe-beige base reads warm and subdued, while the pale ivory linework defines scrolling leaves, open flowers and rounded damask motifs across the cloth. Its lightly irregular woven texture keeps the ornate pattern from appearing overly crisp, with subtle shifts in the surface catching the light. At 465gsm, Cranbrook Linen is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery. The 137cm usable width accommodates larger applications, while the pattern repeats every 60cm vertically and 35cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with chalky cream, aged timber and soft olive accents. Its low-contrast ivory floral tracery also works well as a calmer focal fabric in a traditional room.

Use this weighty taupe floral weave on statement upholstery, where its chalky ivory pattern adds quiet traditional detail.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
