Manda Noir/Linen

Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Fabric FabricCCF0771-03

Manda Noir/Linen pairs a pale natural-linen ground with closely drawn charcoal markings that form a repeating, zebra-like branching stripe. Its woven surface gives the monochrome design a softer, tactile quality than a flat printed graphic.

About this fabric

At 403gsm, this substantial textile has the visual and physical presence suited to upholstery, with a textured ground that gently breaks up the contrast between linen and charcoal. The vertical pattern repeat is 66.5cm and the horizontal repeat is 72cm, creating clearly defined columns of organic striping across the width. With a usable width of 135cm and a standard length of 35m, it offers practical scope for coordinating upholstered pieces while keeping the directional motif consistent. The Noir/Linen colourway reads as softened black against warm, undyed-looking linen rather than stark white, giving the pattern a grounded, quietly dramatic mood.

How to use it

Use Manda Noir/Linen on a statement armchair, dining chair or upholstered headboard, where the charcoal stripe can act as a graphic anchor against warm timber, dark metal and natural woven accessories. Its pale linen base keeps the darker pattern from feeling overly heavy.

Use the charcoal branching stripe on its natural linen ground to bring tailored contrast to upholstered seating, headboards or occasional chairs.
